Today we will take it easy and listen to the “Baïlèro” from Chants d'Auvergne (Songs of the Auvergne) — a collection of folk songs by Joseph Canteloube. The Auvergne is a region in central France, south of Lyon. The landscape gave Cantaloube plenty of material— it’s full of hills and forests, valleys, and gorgeous villages and towns.
While these songs have enchanted some listeners; they always seemed provincial and dullsatory to me. But if I was there near Lyon, they'd probably be enchante. Locally, they don't.
New to me and gratefully enjoyed! Question: What is the best music service? I use YouTube but am trying Amazon Music. Thank you for bringing this alive for me.
Good question! I usually share a YT link because I know everyone will be able to access AND they often have live one off recordings that I am unable to find anywhere else...I have used Amazon Music, Spotify, and Apple Music....they all have slightly different selections but do share many of the same recordings. I guess the answer to your question is - it depends! In the beginning, I was often sharing the YT link, along with Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music but there were some selections that I just couldn't find across them all. I am happy to go back to sharing links to the selections all platforms if they are available....
I like to hear opera tunes set to piano, cello, flute, etc., etc. YouTube has several good ones. Tannhauser piano pieces are my current favorite. I'm poking around Amazon. Can you recommend one that you like?

I would recommend taking a look at Spotify - lots of great options there!
What a powerful piece of singing and music - any challenges of the day just melted away - thank you
