One of my most favorite operas. Still, 40 years on, Rodolfo's anguished "Mimi! Mimi!" in Act IV when he realizes she's died gives my goosebumps. Many great performances, but Pavarotti and Freni are very special! Thanks. Happy Holidays!!

Still remember Carol Neblett as Musetta stopping NYC Opera BOHEME with her thrilling wild Musetta,.

Also LaScala telecast with Freni/Pavarotti and Catlos Kleiber, where I appeared in Act 2 as a Parisiam pedestrian in Milan. Great memories.

One of my all-time favorites, and especially the Pavarotti/Freni/Karajan recording, which we often play while making dinner.

Thank you for these other recordings, as well.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Pavrotti at his finest. Thoroughly enjoyed your selection. Thank you so much.

It is strange how La Boheme is so popular as nothing much happens and yet so much happens. And the music is sublime from start to finish. Definitely one of my favorites, and one I can watch/listen to repeatedly. Thanks as always for bringing it alive Michele.
