This collaboration was a surprise to me, as I always thought of Merrill and Richard Tucker, not Bjorling. A great loss like Norman Treigle who died in his 40's too. They gave their all.

I met Roberta Peters once, and asked her about Jussi Bjorling. The question seemed to make her emotional, and all she replied “Oh, Jussi”.
